Here at Javazen we believe in promoting healthy bodies and a healthy planet. But the coffee industry takes a really heavy toll on the Earth, and all too often coffee farmers are paid a pittance for their labor. So, it’s really important to purchase your coffee from eco-minded companies, who source only organic, shade-grown coffee beans from farmers who get paid what they are worth. The farmers who help make Javazen possible are paid more per pound of coffee than fair trade standards.
It’s also a health issue. Non-organic, pesticide-laden coffee is going to add to the overload of environmental toxins which already exist within you. And these toxins are responsible for a long list of maladies that we want to avoid at all costs. Drinking healthy, organic coffee infused with superfoods will do wonders for your health as well as the environment.
On the other side of the coin, intensive coffee farms with unsustainable practices degrade the environment and kill off the natural habitats of beautiful tropical birds who co-exist happily alongside the canopy of trees under which coffee naturally grows.
Even if you’re spending big bucks at hip neighborhood coffee shops, you’re probably not supporting the sustainability of coffee. Now more than ever, it’s absolutely necessary to buy coffee from organic coffee farms – for the health of your family, and the health of our beautiful planet.
If you have any questions about our practices here at Javazen regarding sustainability, please drop us a line. We’d love to hear from you!
Let’s heal our planet one organic coffee bean at a time!
