Day six and we're still loving the road life.
We woke up at Merritt Estate Winery and after a quick clean up were on the road. We made our first stop at Evangola State Park for an early morning swim and to take in more beautiful views of Lake Erie.
From Evangola we made the hour-long drive across the New York State line up to Buffalo. We arrived at our Wegmans McKinley location for our day of sampling. The store was packed with customers completing their Saturday shopping. We had an awesome day meeting new friends and sharing our passion with them until we sold out the store's stock of product.
We packed up around 6:00 p.m. and headed to 4 Mile Creek State Park on the shore of Lake Ontario. It took about an hour and had been recommended by Ryan who had spent time there when was younger.
The drive was well worth it as the climate, around 70 degrees, and the vistas of the Lake were incredible. Having had a busy day, we relaxed with a few craft beers, hot showers, and got to bed early for our next day of excitement.
